Local Action in Cambridge

DSC0064.jpg

Cambridge Hub has so many member groups doing brilliant things in Cambridge, and there are plenty of these which actively do things within the community. While campaigning for change and raising awareness are really important, local action in the local community is something all students can get involved with for whatever time they have to offer, and it is satisfying and exciting!

There are things happening every week, whether one off events or regular commitments, so make sure you check out the societies which come under local action here: Local Action Societies.

May 2012 shows the launch of an exciting new Hub event, Local Action Week from the 29th of April to the 7th of May. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with all the member groups, as they will be holding taster sessions, training, forums and many other opportunities to get involved, all in one week!
