The magazine is published once a term in November, February and March, and is accompanied with an online edition updated regularly. The Globalist is endorsed by many prominent public figures, including Sir Richard Branson and Kenneth Clarke MP.

Soc Doc Soc - Cambridge University Social Documentary Film Society

Soc Doc Soc is a documentary film society at the University of Cambridge. Our focus is on documentary films that raise social issues, stimulate discussion and inspire. We seek to establish and maintain a strong and vibrant community of documentary enthusiasts in Cambridge by screening documentaries, inviting guest speakers, holding discussions, organising filmmaking workshops and working on filmmaking projects. The society is open to everyone whether you’ve already made or want to make doc films or just fancy watching a few during your time at Cambridge.

Cambridge Speak

SPEAK is a national network of students who campaign and pray on issues of global injustice, linking people together and resourcing them to use their voice to call for change. Recent campaigns have focused on corporate accountability, the arms trade, and trade justice. We currently meet on a Monday evening to share a meal, pray, study the Bible and take action to tackle injustice around the world. Our aim is to build a community of like-minded people who want to see their faith lived out in bringing change to situations of injustice.

Cambridge RAG

Cambridge RAG involves students in fundraising activities to support several different charities at local, national and international levels. We run several events throughout the year for both members of the university and the general populace of Cambridge including a beer festival, pyjama pub crawl, fine wine auction, jailbreak event, blind date, a duck race....

Cambridge Stop AIDS Society

HIV and AIDS is one of the most devastating crises of our generation. 40 million people are already HIV positive, and that number grows by one every 10 seconds. We believe we cannot stand by and watch people die, watch children being orphaned, societies being devastated and economies crumble.

Cambridge University International Development (CUiD)

CUiD is a student-run society whose mission is to provide a non-partisan platform to raise awareness on international development issues and to promote the open discussion of them.

Cambridge University United Nations Association [CUUNA]
