Member Groups: Fundraising

Cambridge Oxfam Group is a group of volunteers who support Oxfam by campaigning and fundraising. We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds who wish to help.

Cambridge RAG involves students in fundraising activities to support several different charities at local, national and international levels. We run several events throughout the year for both members of the university and the general populace of Cambridge including a beer festival, pyjama pub crawl, fine wine auction, jailbreak event, blind date, a duck race....

We are a Cambridge based organisation focussing on the following areas: Child sponsorship in Uganda The Itupale Online Journal of African Studies Research and Fundraising for African Causes Our current African project focuses on the Child Africa International School in Uganda, one of the first schools in Africa to combine deaf and non deaf children into the school curriculum. Cambridge to Africa is a member of the Humanitarian Centre and the Cambridge Hub

A university society that encourages students to consider working for NGOs involved in healthcare such as Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in the future. We aim to raise awareness of MSF, their work in the field and their campaigns. Fundraising is an important feature of Friends of MSF societies and we aim to collect money for MSF's general work and campaigns.

Students Supporting Street Kids (SSSK) aims to raise awareness about the issues affecting street children, and to raise money for projects that work with and for children in difficult circumstances.
